Your tenancy agreement contains all the important information you need to know about your tenancy; it also sets out what we must do as your landlord to keep your home in good repair and the rights that you have as a resident of the property.

The agreement sets out your responsibilities as a resident living in one of our properties. In summary we ask that you:

  • pay your rent in advance and on time;
  • live in your home as your only and main home;
  • live peacefully with your neighbours;
  • keep the inside of your home in good condition and any communal areas clear of personal belongings;
  • report any repairs and give us access to fix a repair or inspect what work is needed;
  • let us know if there is any change in your household;
  • seek our permission and advice if you want to take in a lodger;
  • let us know if you want to make alterations or improvements to your home;
  • let us know if you will be away from home for more than four weeks;
  • seek our advice and permission if you want to assign your tenancy to someone else;
  • only taxed and roadworthy vehicles can be parked in the specified areas; no parking on pavements or verges;
  • do not carry out frequent or major vehicle repairs in the estate parking areas.
