If you want to move, there are a couple of things below to consider before we can proceed:
- You must have lived in your current home for one year or more.
- Your rent payments must be up to date and paid in advance.
- There must be no breaches of your tenancy agreement.
Once you have contacted us, we can check if you can move and arrange to visit you to check and discuss your needs, including the areas you want to move to. Further information about transferring to a new home is available in our Lettings Policy.
For all our other residents you can swap your home by doing a mutual exchange. This must be with another council or housing association tenant.
Sutton Housing Society offers free subscription to the national HomeSwapper mutual exchange website.
